Welcome to Meredith Nurseries. These Terms and Conditions explain the basis on which we sell and supply our plants, trees and garden products. By placing an order through our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

πΏ 1. Availability of Plants and Products
All plants, trees and other products are offered subject to availability and seasonal growing conditions.
As we deal with living plants, availability, size and appearance can vary throughout the year. While we make every effort to keep our website updated, occasionally an item may become unavailable after an order has been placed.
If we are unable to supply a particular variety, size or product, we will contact you to discuss the available options.
We will not substitute a different variety or product without your agreement.

Orders are processed in the order they are received wherever possible.
An order is subject to acceptance by Meredith Nurseries and confirmation of product availability.
We aim to supply all orders as described on our website and will contact customers if there are any problems fulfilling an order.
π³ 3. Prices and Delivery Charges
All prices displayed on our website are in pounds sterling (Β£).
Delivery charges may apply depending on the size, weight, destination and delivery service required.
Any applicable delivery charge will be displayed during checkout or confirmed before the order is accepted.

π± 4. Plant Quality and Natural Variations
We take great care when selecting, preparing and packing our plants and trees.
However, plants are living products and their appearance naturally changes depending on the season, weather and growing conditions.
Customers should be aware that:

Plant sizes may vary slightly from those shown in photographs.

Foliage colour and appearance can change throughout the year.

Some plants may be dormant or have reduced foliage during winter.

Flowering plants may not be in flower when delivered.

Individual plants may differ in shape and branching.
Product photographs are intended as a guide to the variety being supplied and may not represent the exact individual plant delivered.
Some product images may be AI-generated or digitally enhanced for illustration purposes.
Nothing in these conditions affects your statutory rights where products are faulty, damaged or not as described.
π 5. Delivery and Risk
Orders are normally delivered by our appointed courier services.
Risk in the goods passes to the customer when the goods are delivered to the customer or an authorised recipient.
Meredith Nurseries remains responsible for ensuring that orders are supplied in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Customers should check their delivery as soon as reasonably possible and contact us promptly if plants arrive damaged or there is a problem with the order.

π° 6. Payment and Ownership
Payment must be received in full before goods are dispatched, unless another arrangement has been agreed in writing.
Ownership of the goods remains with Meredith Nurseries until full payment has been received and cleared.
Once payment has been received in full, ownership transfers to the customer.
π 7. Complaints and Customer Support
We want every customer to be happy with their purchase.
If you have a concern about your order, please contact us as soon as possible after delivery so that we can investigate and help resolve the issue.
When contacting us, please provide:

Photographs where appropriate, particularly if plants have arrived damaged or in poor condition.
We aim to deal with all complaints fairly and promptly.
Any request to report a problem within seven days of delivery is intended to help us investigate quickly and does not restrict your statutory consumer rights.

If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will do our best to stop the order before it is prepared or handed to the courier.
For online purchases, customers may have statutory cancellation rights under applicable consumer legislation. The availability of these rights and any exceptions will depend on the type of goods supplied and the circumstances of the order.
Any cancellation charges will only be applied where legally permitted and where applicable terms have been properly communicated.
