🌱 WHERE TO PLANT YOUR RUBICON CONIFER
☀️ Position: Choose a sunny or partially shaded position. A sunny location can encourage good growth and attractive foliage colour.
🌿 Soil: Prefers moist, humus-rich soil. Unlike many conifers, this species appreciates consistently moist growing conditions and can tolerate wetter soil better than many other garden conifers.
💧 Watering: Water regularly, particularly during dry weather. Avoid allowing the rootball to dry out completely.
🪴 Growing in Pots: Choose a suitable container with drainage holes and use a moisture-retentive but free-draining growing medium. Container-grown plants need regular watering.
🌳 Planting: Ideal for garden borders, damp garden areas and mixed evergreen displays.
✂️ Maintenance: Generally requires little pruning. Remove damaged growth when necessary and avoid cutting into old, bare wood.
🍂 Seasonal Interest: Expect the foliage colour to change with the seasons and growing conditions.
